Colourfence shortlisted for 2 Franchise Marketing Awards

10 October 2017

Colourfence has reached the finals of this year’s Franchise Marketing Awards (FMAs). This is the first year the company has entered the awards and, says founder and Managing Director Mark Stewart-Woods, the company is thrilled to have made the shortlist in each category it entered.

“This is fantastic news for us, and recognition for some significant investments we’ve made in our promotional activities this year,” says Mark. “Marketing is key to our success, and the success of all our franchisees, so it’s good to know that we’re doing things right when compared with our franchising peers.

“What’s even more important to me, though, is that our company ethos – one of transparency, fair pricing and customer service – and which is the cornerstone of our marketing message has been acknowledged through these commendations.”

The FMAs recognise the effective and innovative marketing of company products and services. Colourfence reached the finals in ‘Best Website’, where the judging panel were looking for a well-designed, distinct and engaging website, as well as ‘Best Overall Marketing Campaign’ for the Good Fence Guide, where judges were looking for a clearly developed theme that has been applied over a period of at least six months.

The winners will be announced at this week’s National Franchise Exhibition at the NEC, Birmingham, where Colourfence will be on stand F30.

Colourfence launched in the UK in 2004, first franchising a few years later. Its weatherproof and low-maintenance fencing is in great demand with time-poor homeowners who are seeking a long-lasting alternative to timber fences. And with a 25-year guarantee, as well as an ability to withstand wind gusts of 130mph, Colourfence will stay standing whatever mother nature has tio throw at us.

Colourfence franchisees operate in an exclusive territory, supplying the company’s products and employing labour for installations. The franchise requires no previous experience, is very easy to learn and allows for a rapid return on investment. Colourfence hosts regular Open Days at its factory in Newport for prospective franchisees, and will be on stand F30 at the National Franchise Exhibition, Birmingham on 13th & 14th October.
