Picking a franchise over self-employment

“I can’t fault the commercial and technical support”

In 2010, Brian started his own business selling products online, but found most of his time was taken up with the technical aspects of the business rather than turning his sales and people skills into revenue.

Commercial and technical support

He relished being his own boss but wanted to spend more time doing the things he enjoyed – so he considered franchising. “I wanted a way of marketing an established brand with proven technology and superb backup - one where I could use my sales experience and people skills to great effect. Having looked at a number of options, it was Spoton.net that ticked all of my boxes and still does. I can’t fault the commercial and technical support that I’ve received”, says Brian.

Rapid expansion

It’s been almost four years since Brian set up his franchise with Spoton.net. In that time he has developed a substantial amount of loyal clients. “My clients often recommend me to their contacts … it’s a business network that, if nurtured correctly, will continue to grow.”
