Fit4Less - Small is Beautiful

30 August 2012

Fit4less by énergie launches its smallest ever gym this week with the opening of its Maidstone site, the 23rd in the Group’s portfolio.

The 3,000 sqft gym features all the latest technology and equipment including TRX®, Precor cardio equipment, resistance machines, free weights, changing facilities and showers. The pint-sized gym “demonstrates the versatility of the énergie Group’s low-cost brand”, explains David Beattie, Brand and Marketing Director. He added: “Fit4less gyms are adaptable to the space and the ‘small box’ concept is becoming increasingly popular for franchise investors as well as the end user looking for a convenience and ‘on the doorstep’ venue to work out.”

The opening of Maidstone saw 500 pre-sales, which owner, Tom Burke believes is due to the brand’s strict and ‘aggressive’ marketing guidelines, he said: “énergie gives you all the tools you need to make your business a success and when you listen and follow them you can easily reap the benefits.”

The opening of Maidstone is the third Fit4less site of entrepreneur and ex-Fitness First manager Tom Burke since became a franchisee in 2010. He said: “Since moving to énergie, I have become my own boss and I have seen my businesses grow and become part of the most exciting development in the fitness industry; all based on a product I strongly believe in.”

Membership for Fit4less Maidstone starts from £19.99 per month, which includes no contract.
