Raft stores now in St. Albans and Harrogate

Raft are branching out twice this first quarter and in two very promising locations, St.Albans and Harrogate.

St. Albans opened to the public last Saturday to a positive reception, the store spans over two floors and is in a prime location in the town centre.

Harrogate is still in the construction phase and will be opened to the public next week Saturday 27th, a very exciting time as we welcome new franchisee's Thomas Chapman-Andrews and Abigail Yates to Raft. The store is approximately 3,000 sq m large and will feature our best sellers, the store like St.Albans is positioned on a corner allowing visibility from many points on the street, another great location for a Raft store!

Rendered Lincoln Images - sneak peek!

The website is getting an overhaul, in the next few months you'll be able to see our new website. The team are working on putting together rendered images that enable the customer to choose from a carefully selected group of fabrics for their base and scatter cushions. We'll keep you posted in the coming weeks to it's launch!

Earth Hour - what we got up to...

Earth Hour last month saw 150 countries around the world switch off their lights to raise awareness to the huge amount of energy we use. On the night there were many events and people doing things in the dark! Earth Hour ambassadors pop group McFly performed a live acoustic gig in panda onesies. We went out and had a candle lit dinner at Ottolenghi's in Islington.

You can go beyond Earth Hour and aim to look after our planet all year round, by switching of standby lights, having candle lit dinners and eating more vegetarian meals over meat meals.

Hudson in up coming shoot

Our latest collection of furniture the Hudson range will feature in our next Photoshoot due beginning of May, a very exciting time as we get new images to promote the brand. We'll keep you posted and send you snap shots of the shoot.

Raft Shortlisted for the National Recycling Awards

Raft are shortlisted for the National Recycling Awards for the category of Best Recycled Product, thanks to our Tamara Dining Table we have a chance of scooping up this prestigious award. We're in the category alongside Asda, Carbon8 Aggregates, Glasdon UK, R3 Product Ltd. Turtle Doves and Viridor. Crossed fingers we get chosen! The award ceremony will be held in July at the Hilton on Park Lane.
