Record January sees Wagging Tails start 2018 with a bang!

02 February 2018

Dog boarding franchise Wagging Tails has started 2018 with a bang. The network took over £100,000 worth of dog holiday bookings during January 2018, an increase of over 20% year on year.

Following a record breaking 2017 during which Wagging Tails took over £500,000 worth of bookings (an increase of over 10% year on year) and three new franchised branches launched the dog holiday company shows no signs of slowing down in their development.

Company Director Lisa Suswain attributes the success of the business to a total focus on the welfare of the dogs in their care and welcoming the right people into the business as they have grown,

“We set up Wagging Tails to provide a holiday service for dogs with absolutely no compromises. By welcoming fellow dog lovers who share our passion for dogs and their welfare into the company as local franchise business owners we have been able to grow and meet the demand we have received from dog owners in more and more places across the country.”

Carolyn, an owner whose Dalmatian Dolly has enjoyed holidaying with Wagging Tails described the service as,

“Devoted, knowledgeable and calm. They provided Dolly with impeccable care and her pining owners with regular updates and photographs, and generally did everything possible to ensure that Dolly’s stay was happy, safe and fun. All in all, absolutely faultless. Would recommend 100%”.

Jane, owner of Jack Russell Maddie, added,

“Wagging Tails has always managed to place Maddie with such fantastic carers. Jo, Dawn, Janet, Sheila and more recently Jenni have all provided a real home from home service. We have no hesitation in recommending Wagging Tails.”

In addition to welcoming increasing numbers of holiday guests Wagging Tails have also put their increased profile to good use working with the charity Hearing Dogs for Deaf People. By the end of 2017 Wagging Tails had helped to raise over £17,000 for the charity via a range of fundraising initiatives and now have their own Hearing Dog puppy, Neve, in training. Lisa recently went to meet Neve and her socialisers at one of her early training classes to see how she was getting on.

“It was a real pleasure to meet Neve and her team and we are really excited about watching her training progress. We are really proud to work with such a fantastic life-changing charity and we will be providing regular updates on how little Neve is getting on”.

Wagging Tails have huge demand for their dog boarding service and are keen to welcome fellow dog lovers into their family. If you think you’ve got what it takes to build a successful local business and would like to work from home with your dog take a look at their franchise opportunity
