Mum of two young boys Carly-Ann Cole is set to clean up the homes of Redhill and Reigate with the launch of her own eco-friendly domestic cleaning and home care franchise business, Bright & Beautiful

20 May 2015

Carly, who lives in Horley with her young family, launches her business this month managing a team of cleaners to deliver ethical, professional and eco-friendly housekeeping services that include cleaning, tidying and laundry in the areas of Redhill, Reigate, Horley, Smallfield, Earlswood, Salfords, Woodhatch and surrounds.

Before launching Bright & Beautiful Carly, 36, held a number of senior roles as an accountant and finance manager in the construction, security and housing sectors, managing a number of large teams.

While on maternity leave with her second child earlier this year Carly decided to fulfill her dream of having her own business because, like many busy mums, she wanted a career that allowed her to work flexible hours around the family.  Now her prestige domestic care business will be delivering professional housekeeping services using all natural eco-friendly products as well as creating a number of jobs for other local people.

Carly says: “If anyone knows how to keep a house clean and tidy it has to be a mum with small children! But I also know how much of a juggling act it can be to keep it looking good while going out to work and caring for a family.

“I’ve always loved my home and think of it as my sanctuary, even more so since having my family, which is why launching Bright & Beautiful was the perfect business for me.  I’ve moved from a very male dominated industry to working primarily with other women in my teams of housekeepers and it is great to be able to give them what I have always wanted for myself, an enjoyable way of working that fits around the family.

“While we all live increasingly busy lives we know from our own research* that women are still responsible for the vast majority of housework in the home and almost half of us sacrifice family time to get the housework done.  I really want to help give local families their hugely important leisure time back by taking on all of those cleaning, tidying and ironing jobs that eat into their free time and weekends.”

Bright & Beautiful is an award-winning business model that was founded by entrepreneur Rachel Ray in 2007.  A busy working mum herself, Rachel spotted a gap in the market for a domestic cleaning company that provided full fair employment rights for its team, non-toxic cleaning products and an exceptional housekeeping service for its clients. Since then the business has grown from strength to strength with franchisees around the UK employing carefully vetted professional housekeepers and servicing thousands of clients.
