Another new win for Wynne

Wynne Hughes, owner of Betterclean Services Swansea, has won another fantastic new contract with a local transport firm worth £25,000 a year, thanks to our latest carefully targeted cross-media marketing campaign. The new contract is the latest in an impressive list of new business wins the former senior sales executive has achieved since starting his Betterclean Services franchise business in Swansea in March 2012.

Betterclean Services Managing Director and Founder, Dan van Kuyk, explained: "Wynne identified more than 100 contacts who had expressed an interest in finding out more about Betterclean Services. We then put them through our latest marketing campaign and this led to various appointments being made. We’re absolutely delighted that Wynne has been able to convert some of those into new contracts that will really enable his business to grow in 2013.”

Wynne commented: “The transport company was unhappy with the services they were receiving from their existing supplier, so the direct marketing campaign came at the right time – luckily for me. An appointment was made and I was able to go in and tell them why they should contract us. ”

Wynne says the new contract will provide another 40 hours of work per month for his business, which means he has had to take on more staff. “The business now provides work for myself and six others, which is quite incredible when you consider I only started it eight months ago. In that short space of time, I’ve managed to win some excellent contracts.”

“Things just keep building. In fact, I’ve just picked up another new contract – with the Duke of Edinburgh Awards scheme – so new opportunities seem to be coming my way regularly. The marketing campaign worked really well, it’s been a big help to me and I’m really grateful to Dan for the new business it has generated for me.”

Wynne became a Betterclean Services franchise owner to achieve his dream of becoming his own boss, after 20 years working for other people, having risen to become a Senior Sales Executive. “I’m really happy that I decided to become a Betterclean Services franchise owner – it’s the best thing I’ve ever done. 2012 has gone very quickly, but the business has done very well and I’m looking forward to building on that success in 2013.”
