Tony's Feedback

16 December 2013

I left school at 16 and joined the Royal Navy where I served for six years leaving as a Leading Electrical Mechanic. I immediately joined Kent Police where I served thirty years, retiring in January 2014 as a Neighbourhood inspector. Ten years of my service was on the dog section, five years as a PC dog handler and five years as a sergeant.

I have always had dogs during my life and would say I have a very healthy respect for dogs, yes I would say I'm a dog lover. Growing up and into my early twenties my sister also had a horse, my parents have also had cats on and off during the years and I have a healthy respect for both as well as most animals really. I currently have a young chocolate Labrador called Pebbles.

Approximately five or six years ago I realised that once I left the police I didn't want to work for anyone else and decided a franchise would be my ideal choice of a career/business. Despite looking at several franchises pet food was always my favourite. Having looked at two franchises I stumbled across Husse and another. The other franchise looked quite poor in comparison but Husse really took my eye. I was immediately taken by the product itself, the fact the ingredients are human grade and there are additives free range. The reason I chose Husse was not only because of this but because I liked the look of the setup, could work locally and my wife of nearly twenty-eight years, Gerry, could also get involved.
