The British Franchise Exhibition ׀ EventCity, Manchester ׀ 20&21 June 2014

02 June 2014

Are you looking for a career change, to run your own venture, or to find a new approach to your business life? Consider the advantages of Franchising – supported self-employment. These are not widely known. As a franchisee, you can develop your own enterprise, within the knowledge-bank of a reputable, thriving and established organisation. The success rate has been shown to outstrip conventional self-employment by a long way.

On Friday 20th and Saturday 21st June, there is a unique opportunity to investigate Franchising at the British Franchise Exhibition, EventCity, Manchester. A wide range of franchises will be presented  including business-to-business, food and drink, retailing, cleaning, caring, property and automotive services. Wherever your skills and interests lie – there’s a business to suit you.

Real Franchise Stories

Put your questions to a panel of franchisees to find out why they decided to buy a franchise and what it’s really like to run your own business. Hear real-life stories from those who have already made the move into franchising. Auditel Franchisee Mike Andrews will be on Friday’s panel at 2pm and will be delighted to meet you.

Franchise Talks

Listen to a range of in-depth talks from franchised businesses, consultants and experts. Find out what franchisors look for in a prospective franchisee. Advice can be given on how to raise the necessary funds. Auditel’s Managing Director, Chris Allison, will be presenting ‘In Business for Yourself but not by Yourself’ on Friday at 11.45am and Saturday at 12.45pm. This is not to be missed!

Franchise Hub

At the heart of the Exhibition  is the Franchise Hub where visitors can meet and network with like-minded potential franchisees and experts over a coffee or a glass of wine in the Franchise Cafe.

British Franchising Association (bfa) Franchising Seminars

These hour-long exclusive bfa seminars will cover all aspects of franchising. A panel of industry-leading experts including lawyers, bankers, consultants and franchisors will talk about their subject and answer your questions.

After visiting an exhibition…

Ali Ghani joined the Auditel Cost Management Franchise after visiting a franchise exhibition. He was a Business Development Consultant for a variety of media companies and wanted to run his own business. He decided to take up a franchise. He explains: "Auditel’s business model is proven, robust, and lucrative. They have been established for a long period of time with full British Franchise Association (bfa) membership. The company's financial performance has been fantastic. The network has grown to over two hundred Affiliates and the software and tools are exceptional!

“But above all, the real reason that I chose Auditel is because of their values and the culture of the organisation. It's a very, very important and daunting decision to make, but I never felt pressured. They actively encouraged me to look at all the other options, the market and the competition. The training was comprehensive, inspiring and an excellent foundation for client meetings and acquisition!”

Matt Sidwell, Auditel’s Network Development Director says: “If like Ali  you are exploring ways to expand your horizon, visit this exhibition  and drop in to meet us on Stand N220!”
