etyres welcomes newest Franchise Owner

17 October 2014

Everyone hoping to launch their own business is always looking for a sign that they are making the right decision – for Mark Jackson that sign was a giant advertising banner in a field near his home!

After 18 years working as a mechanic, Mark had begun searching for a fresh career opportunity, he knew he wanted to remain in the motoring trade and that he needed a business with a strong backbone.  Lurking in the back of his mind was etyres, the UK’s first online mobile tyre fitting company, which he had first become aware of several years earlier when he spotted its banner in a field off the A1.

“I had found out on Google that it was a franchise and I suppose that had stayed in the back of my mind.  I have not really worked with tyres before, we always sent the cars out for new tyres,” Mark explained.

“But I am really into gadgets and gizmos, and what really appealed to me about etyres was the fact that there are a lot of changes afoot in this industry.  Onboard telemetry is going to be the way forward and etyres is already making plans to make sure it is ahead of the game.”

Mark, 33, is looking forward to taking advantage of his experience and contacts in the automotive industry to give his etyres Huntingdon branch a launch boost.  “I been in touch with garage owners who I know from experience will benefit from using a mobile tyre fitting company.  I understand how expensive and time consuming it can be if they have to waste time sending cars to a fast fit depot to have new tyres fitted, whereas I can save them money and hassle by carrying out the work on their premises.”

As well as recognising its tremendous potential for growth, Mark was also impressed with the level of training and support etyres offers its Franchise Owners and how he could capitalise immediately on its established brand name and reputation.

“etyres presents a very good impression from its smart branded vans to the Hoffman tools they are equipped with,” Mark said.  “Image is important because it helps to convey the fact you are professional and reliable and this is what helps to make you stand out as a business that is going to succeed, as opposed to being some guy in a battered van with greasy hands and dirty overalls who takes no pride in their work.”

After weeks of support from the Head Office team, Mark is now looking forward to completing his comprehensive training programme and launching his etyres Huntingdon branch.
