Antal is off to a flying start of the year 2018 as it opens 5 new offices!

A new training class has started in Antal International’s headquarters in Baker Street, London, on Monday the 19th February 2018. Antal is very pleased to welcome 5 new owners from Germany, Luxembourg, Belgium, Romania and the Netherlands. 

These new offices will cover different sectors such as Metal Productions & Manufacturing, Automotive & Parts, different disciplines within the IT sector, 

We are very pleased to welcome these owners spread across Europe and wish them all the best! 

Dr Bernd Thommes, new owner in Germany, graduated in mechanical engineering from the University of Applied Science in Konstanz, Germany. He holds a Mechanical Engineering Degree and a Bachelor Degree from Coventry University, UK. Dr. Thommes conducted his mechanical engineering thesis at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, India. He holds an MBA degree from the École des Ponts Business School, France as well as Doctorate from the University of Gloucestershire, UK, which investigates the relationship between company performance and human behaviour. 

He worked in different engineering positions in Germany, France, the USA and South Korea. Dr Thommes held in several C-Level management positions in multinational corporations in the field of metal production and processing, manufacturing & Supply chain, automotive & parts, additive manufacturing and powder metallurgy and headed organizations in the USA, the UK, India, Sweden and Germany. 

His 15 year international background and deep operational experience in the strategy, leadership, business improvement, lean management, greenfield start-ups and crisis management gives him a unique background, Dr Thommes will be specialised in metal production and processing, manufacturing & supply chain, automotive & parts, additive manufacturing and powder. 

Jose Morente is opening his office in Luxembourg and is a native of Spain who earned a bachelor's degree in international finance and industrial marketing from ICADE, Universidad Pontificia Comillas, Madrid, Spain and the CESEM program of Neoma Business School, France. 

He began his career in marketing and communications at General Motors in Paris and held several positions in sales and operations in France in the components divisions. He then moved on to overseas assignments in sales in China, Australia and the United States developing both Original Equipment and Aftermarket businesses for Delphi. 

After settling down in Luxembourg he has overseen Delphi's activities in marketing, media relations, internal communications and government relations for the European region and for the Powertrain Systems unit. 

His global knowledge of the automotive industry makes him a valuable resource to identify talent and support clients with their global needs. 

Pierre Dagneau, owner of the Antal office in Belgium, brings more than 30 years of experience in IT from which 25 in various leadership positions. He has been leading various successful Pre-sales and delivery projects both at European and local levels. From his recent experience at Unisys, Pierre has developed expertise around audits, assessments and Strategic roadmaps in Social Business, (Digital) Workplace Transformation, Cloud, End-user Experience Management (EUEM) and VDI for various public and private organizations. 

From 2013 until 2015, Pierre has been engaged as Digital Workplace Transition & Transformation Program Manager for a major European Utility group. 

Prior to Unisys, Pierre Dagneau has been Senior Manager and Practice leader at KPMG Consulting in Belgium and member of the KPMG European Learning & Development board. Between 1994 and 2001, Pierre Dagneau has worked for CSC as Principal and Practice leader. 

Pierre speaks fluent English in addition to his native French and will concentrate on finding and placing TOP ICT Talents for all industries and sectors 

Ian & Tatiana Ludlow are opening a new office in the Netherlands. Ian is a results-oriented executive with more than 20 years of experience in managing aviation companies, developing business strategies, delivering sustainable growth and leading a team of people. Ian has accomplished measurable results while leading multiple cross-functional teams in a dynamic, fast paced environment. 

Ian’s wife Tatiana Ludlow is a results-oriented and service minded assistant with more than 15 years of broad experience working in a busy multinational environment with people from different countries, levels and cultures in telecom, aviation, oil & gas, pharmaceutical and textile companies. 

Tatiana’s role was to provide highest level of daily multitask support to CEO, CFO and Management members with a large scope of administrative duties to make more efficient and effective use of the time. She has a flexible and committed approach to performing tasks with attention to details and high level of responsibility and accountability. Tatiana has a positive personality, communication and planning skills and is able to prioritize tasks and act independently, treat people with respect and confidential information carefully. 

Lionel Garnier will be heading a new office in Romania with Irina Vasile’s help. With a General Management background, Lionel has P&L responsibility across manufacturing and sales. Lionel is a French national who has been a 12 years expatriate in the Philippines, Romania, Egypt, Vietnam, Dominican Republic and Haiti. 

Lionel used to fill Senior Executive missions in business turnaround and business development.
