Bullseye, as Greater Manchester care provider wins another business award.

21 May 2013

Caremark (Oldham & Tameside) have again scooped a top local business award, with this year’s prize awarded them for One Oldham Business of the Year (under £1m turnover).  This follows another year of growth and development in the jointly run homecare business.

The Queen Elizabeth Hall in Oldham was the venue for a glittering ceremony attended by some 460 guests who gathered to enjoy a champagne reception and a three course dinner, culminating in the top business awards for entrepreneurs throughout the borough.  The awards recognize excellence and their contribution to the life of Oldham and its people.

2012 saw the dynamic duo, joint directors Helan Graham and Stephanie Doherty, take the Start-Up Business of the Year award, having only launched their homecare business in September 2011.

Commenting on this latest win, director Stephanie Doherty said “We were very pleased to win this award and couldn’t believe it!”

Helan Graham and Stephanie Doherty previously worked in Children’s Services for Oldham local authority for a number of years before taking voluntary redundancy in 2011.  Using their previous skills and experience within the care sector, they decided to open their own business providing care and support to people who wish to remain living independently at home, but who may require some support to do so.

Operating from their office in Lees, Oldham, Graham & Doherty provide bespoke care and support throughout the Oldham and Tameside area, to any individual who may require it, irrespective of age, disability or ethnicity.   The company now delivers close to 600 hours of care and support per week to people at home and within the community, delivered by their team of 40 care staff.

2013 has started well for this ‘caring pair’ and they are looking forward to continued business growth throughout the months to come.
