Mac Tools is proud to announce that two more franchisees have launched their Mac Tools van franchise.  David Gauld and Kevin Norton, who both enjoy the outdoors, have taken to the road in their respective territories this fall.

 

Joining our network of over 100 UK distributors, Mac Tools are part of Stanley Black & Decker, an $11+ billion organisation employing over 30,000 people worldwide. They are also the owner of the world famous Stanley Black & Decker, Facom, Britool Expert and DeWalt brands. Mac Tools’ product range consists of over 8,000 professional tools including screwdrivers, ratchets, wrenches, and assorted air tools, as well as its own toolboxes.

 

Kevin has worked in vehicle engineering and workshop organisation for the past 23 years. His work has taken him not only to many different parts of the UK but also to other countries in Europe as well as America, Africa and the Middle East. He found that it was time for a new endeavour and is now operating the Salford territory:

It gives me the opportunity to work for myself and to enjoy the rewards of my new endeavours, as my experience in engineering also gives me a great insight into the product and my customers." 

 

David was also looking for a fresh challenge when he took to the driver’s seat with Mac Tools in Glasgow. He has worked with cars for the majority of his career and has owned a garage for five years. Mac Tools offered him the change of direction that he was looking for while still giving him the opportunity to capitalise on his extensive experience in the automotive industry. During their launch and opening weeks, both Kevin and David have received hands-on training and support. 

 

"The training was very helpful and comprehensive. I’m still in the process of having my Regional Franchise Manager on the road with me. He provides me with great support which really helps me to keep on track," says David.
