Mac Tools continues to grow across the United Kingdom. The latest addition to the Mac Tools network is Oliver Mullan, who has joined Mac Tools in Northern Ireland. Mac Tools is excited that Oliver will now apply his nine years of experience in the motor trade as a Parts Manager and Adviser to distributing Mac Tools in Coleraine.
Mac Tools is part of Stanley Black & Decker, an $11 billion+ global organisation employing over 30,000 people worldwide, that is owner of the world famous Stanley Black & Decker, Britool Expert, Facom and DeWalt brands. Oliver is now one of over 100 trusted franchisees who distribute professional tools including screwdrivers, ratchets, wrenches, assorted air tools and toolboxes to customers such as car dealerships, automotive repair shops, manufacturing units, and engineering companies. Mac Tools offered Oliver the change of direction that he was looking for while still giving him the opportunity to capitalise on his extensive experience in the motor trade.
“I’d progressed as far as possible in my job and so I felt it was the right time for me to make a change. I always wanted to be self-employed within the motor trade and I really liked the idea of a mobile franchise. Mac Tools is a reputable brand and I knew there wasn’t a franchisee in my area so I looked into it and decided it was the perfect career move for me,” says Oliver.
Oliver has a keen interest in motorsport and also enjoys training gun dogs in his free time. Mac Tools shares Oliver’s passion for motorsport and backs the superbikes MSS Bathams Kawasaki team as well as the BTCC Dynojet Racing team. The Mac Tools team is pleased to welcome Oliver not only as a colleague, but also as a likeminded enthusiast.
At the heart of Mac Tools’ success is the comprehensive training offered to its franchisees. Oliver completed his training within the UK and at the Mac ‘Tool School’ in Ohio, USA before taking to the road in his van. During Oliver’s launch and opening weeks, he also received hands-on support from his Regional Franchise Manager and regular support from a dedicated team of staff at the European Headquarters in Sheffield.
