Organic Digital is enhancing the pace of its expansion by launching a major franchising programme rolling out its new media expertise across the UK.

The the award-winning web design and digital marketing agency based in Glasgow, provides bespoke web design, internet marketing and search engine optimisation to the independent and SME sector.

Organic Digital is giving franchise entrepreneurs the chance to share in its fortunes by owning and operating an Organic Digital business.

The move will greatly expand Organic Digital's already impressive reach in a highly competitive environment and build on its client portfolio, which ranges from large corporations to small start-up businesses.

Franchisees will be able to gain immediate entry to a major growth market, in which total digital marketing spend is forecast to increase by 17% in 2012, according to a survey by the ExactTarget & Econsultancy report.

The burgeoning nature of the market is illustrated by the fact that 56% of respondents planned to increase budgets for mobile marketing; 65% for search engine optimisation; and more than 70% for social media marketing.

Organic Digital, founded in 2006 and now on the Recommended Agency Register, is at the forefront of this growing sector, providing unique insights into the future directions of digital marketing and the exponentially growing influence of social media.

It also specialises in app development, branding and design, website management, digital signage, email marketing and ecommerce development. The business has also added the increasingly popular QR Code to the already impressive product range, including custom designed codes.

Organic Digital managing director Graeme Kerr said: "This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for business-minded people who want to be part of a proven and successful business model. Organic Digital is ahead of the field in a fast-paced and exciting marketing sector.”

Graeme, who graduated from Strathclyde University's business school, started G8 Marketing before being headhunted by one of Scotland’s leading advertising agencies to assist with the set-up and development of a brand new online department.

He was instrumental in setting up the department from the ground up, contributing more than 30% of the organisation's turnover within the first year. Missing being his own boss he left to start Organic Digital.

In order to build a franchise opportunity of the highest quality, Graeme has retained one of the UK’s top franchise consultants, a group which has worked for brands such as Marks & Spencer, Nokia and Baguette Express and which is also one of the few consultancies recommended by the British Franchise Association.

He said: "We are in the market for highly-motivated, entrepreneurial individuals with a strong interest in web development and digital marketing and a desire to run a business rather than just have a job.

"We want self-starters who are also able to accept guidance and who will demonstrate the commitment to their territory, preferably by already having a network of business contacts.

"We will expect people to work hard and willingly, and to dedicate themselves to the Organic Digital ethos of quality, consistency and ingenuity. In return, the potential rewards are virtually limitless in such an exciting and fast-expanding marketing sector."
