ERA welcome six new franchise partners to the network

10 September 2013

ERA are pleased to welcome six new franchise partners to their established UK network of 150 consultant business owners. This means, of the 15 licenses available for the 2013/14 financial year, eight have now been secured.

ERA is the UK and Ireland’s leading specialist procurement franchise with the highest consulting revenue – franchise partners have enjoyed organic network sales growth of 64% over the past 5 years. It’s perhaps a combination of this performance along with the chance to take more control of your own future that has enticed the new franchise partners to join this bfa-accredited franchise opportunity.

Matt O’Neil, Head of Recruitment, commented: “With six new franchise partners looking to join in June, the scheduled training was oversubscribed so this year we put on an additional course in July. Dividing the six new franchise partners into two groups maintains the quality of the 12 month Academy business start-up programme. I’m delighted to welcome them all to ERA and look forward to seeing their businesses grow in the years ahead.”

New ERA franchise partner Giles Collighan attended the scheduled training in June:

I thoroughly enjoyed the ERA initial training package and left feeling that all my personal training objectives to achieve my business start-up had been met. The training was well presented, not only by Group Office staff, but also by currently practising ERA Franchisees. This ensured a balanced view on the business opportunity as a whole.”

The initial five-week course is held at ERA’s UK headquarters in Ocean Village Southampton and is the first experience franchise partners have of the multi-award winning ERA Academy network support team. The Academy team oversee the support of all ERA franchise partners, guiding them through each stage as they grow their procurement consultancy businesses.

Giles concludes: “Perhaps the most reassuring thing was that I left the course feeling that there had been no surprises. The business proposition was exactly as had been described during recruitment – now I’ve just got to go and make it work!“

David Hembery joined the second group who started their training in July: “I completed the initial training a fortnight ago. This is a very well-structured business model and the initial training programme was very comprehensive and professionally delivered. It has put me in good stead to commence building my new ERA business. I’m under no illusion, I have a lot of hard work ahead now to get the groundwork established. But it’s reassuring to know that the Academy team are there to support me in the months ahead.”
