An outstanding count – 34 to be exact!

04 July 2018

Home Instead Senior Care is officially the most outstanding franchise opportunity in the care sector.

When it comes to care quality - it’s ratings from the care regulator the Care Quality Commission (CQC) that count.

That’s not a problem for a franchisor that holds a staggering 34 Outstandings - the highest rating in the CQC’s ‘Ofsted-style’ system.

This is the most Outstanding ratings out of any homecare provider with top rated franchises from Durham to East Devon.

As a management franchise opportunity, our owners have become their own boss and with their top ratings, been recognised as strong business leaders.

This demonstrates just how outstanding our franchise model is in turn. Our support grows and changes as our owners’ businesses mature so they reach their leadership and profit potential. That’s just part of the reason why Home Instead is currently also ranked No1 in the Elite Franchise 100 power list.

“The calibre of our brand and our return on investment have presented outstanding opportunities for our owners. They have become their own boss and disrupted the care sector under our brand name,” said Martin Jones, UK MD of the £128 million turnover Home Instead network.

Westminster and City of London owner of four years Fred Mairet is proud to be the network’s latest Outstanding owner at no 34.

A former European HR Director in the water industry, he swapped a corporate world for life in a smaller business where he could be his own boss and make a difference in the care sector.

“Opening up a new territory is a hands-on process but using the franchise model to make a business your own is the beauty of it. Four years on, to be recognised as outstanding by the CQC is the ultimate outcome.”

Gail Devereux-Batchelor, Market Harborough, Corby and Rutland owner, wanted the challenge and excitement of being able to respond rapidly to market needs, to be her own boss but with the benefit of a reassuring franchisor’s support.

She said: “Becoming outstanding proved my ability as a business leader inspired by great outcomes. So that’s the highest recognition possible from the CQC at one end - through to a heartfelt thank you card from a client or their family for the care they have received at the other.”
