FORMER business development manager Chris Nowell found the change in career direction he was seeking with Dream Doors.
Chris joined the UK’s #1 kitchen makeover company earlier this year and is now running a showroom in Telford.
He said he was looking for a proven business model to join and Dream Doors offered the best option.
Chris, who used to run a factory for a major construction vehicle firm, said: “I wanted to create an opportunity to run my own business and I wanted a change of direction.
“I was looking for a greater degree of autonomy and ownership.
“Franchising appealed because of what it offers a new business at start up; there’s basically a much higher percentage of success with a proven business model.
“I went to several exhibitions, one in Manchester and one at the NEC in Birmingham, and I looked at several franchises.
“I considered other franchises in the early days, but I was always very interested in Dream Doors.
“I probably should have gone with my gut instinct and signed with them straight away.
“There’s always a risk in business but Dream Doors has, relatively speaking, much less risk.
“I looked at lots of business models that weren’t right – and I wasn’t particularly interested in kitchens per se – but it was Dream Doors’ business model and the support that was available that clinched it.
“With over 90 franchises already running, I could see that I was buying into a successful business formula.”
Dream Doors is looking for more talented franchisees like Chris who are ready to generate huge profits by representing an industry-leading brand.
There are just 19 new franchise territories available nationwide, particularly in the North East, North West, Yorkshire and Scotland
