Wagging Tails North London franchisee Gary Spencer-Todd has been named as a finalist in the Most Inspiring Business Parent category at the 2014 Mum and Working Awards.

Judged by a VIP Expert Panel that includes Laura Tenison MBE (founder and MD of JoJo Maman Bébé) the awards are open to both mothers and fathers and look to  "reward and recognise the companies and individuals who showcase 'how flexible working works' and its many advantages".  2014 saw an increase of over 60% in the number of nominations for these awards making Gary's achievement even more impressive.  

Since launching his Wagging Tails franchise in September 2013 Gary has built a successful dog boarding business offering dog owners throughout the North London postcode area a home from home alternative to traditional kennels. Commenting on the Awards Gary said, "It is great to be acknowledged and I am really pleased, if slightly shocked, to have been shortlisted for this award".

The Award Winners will be announced at a ceremony held in London on October 16th 2014.
