Commercial cleaning brand, Betterclean Services has moved to enhance its franchise owners’ ROI in a growing marketplace with new initiatives and the appointment of Jade Wakeham as field-based business development manager.
Following an intensive training programme, Jade’s expertise will ensure extensive business support for franchise owners as they capitalise on a market worth over £5bn to the UK economy, with expected growth this year of £100m according to research.
She’s spent the last six months driving the daily operations and expansion of Betterclean’s company-owned branch in Devon, mirroring how franchise owners direct their own businesses. She’ll offer her insight on a one-to-one basis with franchise owners, with new strategic marketing support including a head office lead-generation service and upcoming campaigns.
Formerly a contract manager at a national cleaning business, Jade brings considerable operational and compliance experience to her new role.
She said: “My experience both in the wider cleaning sector and at Betterclean’s head office branch has given me substantial knowhow that I’m looking forward to sharing with franchise owners to grow turnover and increase profitability.
“I’ve already begun work on new marketing initiatives which will be implemented in the New Year through strategic meetings with franchise owners. I’ll also be focusing on maximising the advantages of Betterclean’s bespoke business management system, BLISS, to ensure franchise owners spend time doing what they love, developing their business, and not on cumbersome administrative tasks.”
Betterclean Services founder and managing director, Dan van Kuyk, said: “This is an exciting development for the business. Jade is implementing an in-house telemarketing team which will generate appointments for franchise owners, as well as creating marketing and social media campaigns to increase brand awareness.
“In December we’re also adding Emily Barnett to the head office team on the operational side as we continue to support our network. With the knowledge that Jade and Emily bring with them to Betterclean we look forward to considerable growth in 2017.”
