Second network development day takes place in Birmingham

Building on the success of the first such event, which took place in Swindon last year, the second Betterclean Services network development day took place in Birmingham in January. Members of the network gathered once again for what turned out to be another highly productive day of discussion and learning.

The Betterclean Services network development days provide the perfect opportunity for network members to meet up and gain from sharing knowledge and experience, but there was another reason to be there in Birmingham on the day.

As Betterclean Services Managing Director and Founder, Dan van Kuyk, explained: “Each franchise owner had a one2one meeting with Jordan Flemming from specialist marketing agency Designate, who is providing additional marketing and sales strategic support to network members. This benefit is now included in our franchise package for the first 12 months.”

“With offices in Edinburgh and Wiltshire, Designate is an innovative strategic marketing company that specialises in helping franchise sector businesses. Where possible, we’ll continue to bring in and test pilot the services of leading professionals whose knowledge can help members of our network to be more successful when running and growing their businesses.”

The network development days are structured events where franchise owners can also benefit from interactive business development sessions. Dan added. "We really believe in the value of bringing together network members to share knowledge, because both they and their customers are the ultimate winners."

Becoming a Betterclean Services franchise owner involves an initial investment of £45K + VAT (inc. working capital), with various financing options available. Successful candidates usually come from a senior management background; have solid commercial awareness; and excellent English language and communication skills.

Dan added: “Even people with significant commercial experience need support when launching and running a new franchise business. That support needs to continue long after the initial training and start-up phase. The network development days are part of that support. They will run four times a year and the next one will be in the spring."
