Kare Plus franchisees maximising profits with new healthcare services

01 November 2016

Franchisees at the UK’s most established multi-service healthcare franchise, Kare Plus, are adding more services and more income streams with new home care registration.

Allowing branches to provide their own care services to people in their own homes, home care governing bodies in both England and Wales, the CQC and CSSIW respectively, have awarded five more Kare Plus branches home care registrations throughout October.

With an increasing need for post-hospital care services, Mansfield, Windsor, Croydon, Ashford and Swansea all passed their CQC and CSSIW interviews, joining the 27 other Kare Plus branches already registered.

Kare Plus Swansea is the first Kare Plus franchise to achieve registration in Wales, and franchisee Lisa Buchanan is eager to get going: “I joined Kare Plus back in September 2015 and have been focusing on getting this since then; not only because it is the next step in the model, but because there is a lot of demand for home care in my territory.

“My next step now is to surpass 1000 hours of care a week, something that I have a meeting with my Business Development Manager about to discuss strategy to achieve this.

Kare Plus franchisees have access to multiple services, beginning with nurse and healthcare assistant recruitment for national and local healthcare establishment contracts, before progressing on to seek registration to provide home care services, then various other medical and non-medical services, finally working towards complex care services.

The current network consists of over 70 branches, all supported from a bespoke support team made up of compliance, recruitment, marketing and research and development professionals.
