Kare Plus attends Lloyds Bank National Business Awards

16 November 2017

Shortlisted for two awards at this year’s Lloyds Bank National Business Awards, Kare Plus attended the presentation evening alongside 1200 business leaders and dozens of established businesses to celebrate the success of the UK’s leading organisations.

With hundreds of businesses entering the awards, the UK’s most established multi-service healthcare franchise was one of nine businesses shortlisted for both the Howard Kennedy Employer of the Year Award and the Lloyds Banks Positive Social Impact Award. They were represented on the night by Kare Plus directors, employees and franchisees.

Kare Plus Group Director of Operations, Dominic Rothwell explained what the shortlisting meant to the organisation: “We are extremely proud to offer our workforce of over 5000 employees an enjoyable and rewarding work environment, with opportunities to develop their skills and contribute to their local communities.

“To be shortlisted for two awards focussed on our commitment to our workforce and local communities is absolutely fantastic. The recognition highlights we are on the right track for working towards our organisational goals. The opportunity to take employees and franchisees to the ceremony only added to this.”

The event, held at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel on Tuesday 14th November, was hosted by BBC Journalist Naga Munchetty and included guest speakers from charity, Mental Health UK and British Athlete, Sir Mo Farrah.

Throughout 2017, Kare Plus has been shortlisted for numerous awards and has also achieved the prestigious Investor in People accreditation – all supporting the development and growth of the franchise network that now stands at over 80 offices across the UK.
