Moving in a new direction with an etyres franchise

10 November 2014

Determined Lukasz Kupisz is looking forward to a more rewarding professional and personal life as he embarks on his exciting new venture with the launch of etyres Bishop’s Stortford.

The online mobile tyre retailers newest Franchise Owner made a major lifestyle decision when he took on his expansive territory in order to secure a better future for himself and his partner.

After five years working for a major breakdown service, Lukasz decided it was time for a change in direction, and it made sense to become his own boss in an industry he enjoyed working in.

“Initially I wanted to open my own garage, but I was struggling to find the right premises and all the time my friends and my research were telling me that people are very busy these days,” Lukasz explained.

“I was also picking up on the message that people are a bit lazy too when it comes to their spare time and they don’t want to go to a garage and that’s when I began considering a mobile business in the motoring industry and after Googling ‘mobile tyre fitting’, etyres stood out as a great opportunity for me.  It made sense to keep it simple and stick to one specialist area and of course tyres are always going to be a necessity.”

Lukasz was also keen to invest in a franchise that had a strong online presence to help him maximise his sales opportunities and ultimately enjoy the financial rewards of running his own business.

“Online ordering is definitely the future,” he said, “but to get a quality national website with high impact and a track record for selling to customers would be impossible for me to achieve and I chose etyres because they already have this covered very well.”

Although initially interested in a London-based franchise, Lukasz considered every aspect of choosing a territory carefully and ultimately decided that the Bishop’s Stortford territory in East Hertfordshire offered a lot more potential from a business and personal point of view.

“It is a nicer area to drive around, and I think that whereas a lot of London drivers don’t use their cars very often, Bishop’s Stortford is a very popular commuter town.

“I am also looking to the future and this would be a good area to settle down and bring up children with my partner Monika.”

Lukasz benefited from the support of the etyres Head Office teams to help him launch his new franchise, from putting together a business plan and applying for bank running, through to undertaking a comprehensive training programme covering all aspects of running his branch, from fitting tyres to filiing VAT returns.

Moving forward, like all etyres Franchise Owners, Lukasz will reap the benefits of the efforts of the dedicated marketing team to drive orders to his business via its website, national sales team and network of corporate clients.

Lukasz said: “Knowing all these things are going on allows me to concentrate on building my business up and I am aiming to take on another van and employ a fitter in the future.”
