Leading pizza franchise, Papa John’s, has announced the opening of its latest franchised store in Southport, Merseyside.  Franchisee and former wine merchant, Steve Mullarkey opened his first Papa John’s in 2013.  He now runs seven outlets and has plans to franchise 20 stores!

Steve Mullarkey comments:   “I am very excited about the future and Papa John’s concept of ‘Better Ingredients, Better Pizza’ certainly continues to deliver!  The product’s freshness, quality and value for money is a recipe for success.  In addition, Papa John’s is an exciting company and committed to growth.  My goal is to open 20 stores over the next few years.

“I targeted Southport as it is an established tourist destination and also has a broad residential demographic,” continues Steve.  “The new store is situated on the main road into town which is a great location as it is both visible and provides easy access for customers and deliveries.

“As well as our own local marketing surrounding the opening, Papa John’s has recently invested in a number of national TV advertising campaigns to support new store openings across the UK,” confirms Steve.  “This has really helped build awareness and we often hear from our customers that they saw the ad on TV.
