Caremark (Pulborough) celebrates Carers Week at Sainsbury’s

18 June 2014

The care team from home care provider Caremark (Pulborough) marked Carers Week by exhibiting at their local Sainsbury’s store in Pulborough, West Sussex.

This was the second year that Caremark (Pulborough) had been invited to have a stand with Sainsbury’s to raise awareness of this important week as well as give out information to the public about the home care services which they offer.

Sainsbury’s is one of a number of organisations who pledged support for this annual awareness campaign which aims to improve the lives of carers and the people they care for.  This is achieved at local, regional and national level and each year hundreds of organisations join in to make it one of the UK’s most successful awareness campaigns.

Caremark Head Office staff joined Caremark (Pulborough)’s Care Workers throughout the week, greeting shoppers and speaking to people about their home care services.  Enquiries came from those who were actively seeking care for themselves as well as people who were looking for care and support for their loved ones.

The team were also available to speak to people who were interested in working as a care worker for Caremark and give out more information about this rewarding career path.

Caremark (Pulborough) provides bespoke care and support services to people of all ages and abilities who wish to remain living safely and independently at home.  Support is also provided to enable people to access their local community and maintain their leisure interests and hobbies.

The care provider also offers the option of 24 hour live-in care and support which removes the need to consider residential care for individuals requiring a more intensive level of support.
