Caremark sponsor the Encouraging Women Into Franchise (EWIF) awards

22 June 2016

The beginning of the week saw Caremark Limited attending the 6th annual EWIF Awards ceremony in London as proud sponsors of the EWIF Young Woman in Franchising 2016 award.

Held on the 24th May and sponsored by NatWest, the awards event recognised the achievements of many women across a range of businesses.

Model and businesswoman Caprice Bourret, the guest speaker for the day, engaged her audience with her story of her early modelling days leading to successful business ownership.

Caremark Limited’s Managing Director, Anne O’Rourke said:  “We were really impressed with the calibre of our particular finalists.  They all demonstrated a high level of innovation, passion for their business and entrepreneurial flair. Our finalist, Claire Roberts of Magical Maths was a very worthy winner of the Young Woman in Franchising award.”

With an increasing number of highly successful female franchisees in the Caremark network of offices, it is clear more women professionals are interested in exploring the franchising route as a means to starting their business or to grow an existing one.

“Franchising offers individuals great opportunities and we were delighted to support EWIF and encourage the business women of the future to start their franchise journey,” Anne added.

The event was very well attended with representation from a broad range of businesses by women at all stages of their business life.
