Dream Doors announces winner of inaugural ‘kitchen transformation of the year’ award

19 July 2016

Kitchen makeover franchise Dream Doors has announced the winner of its first ‘kitchen transformation of the year’ award, given to the best kitchen makeover project carried out in 2015 / 2016.

The winning kitchen makeover was completed by Dream Doors Salisbury, transforming a kitchen from a tired wooden look, to a much more modern HG White, and Metallic Blue themed kitchen.

Franchisees from across the 70+ strong Dream Doors network were asked to submit their best kitchen transformations. Dream Doors HQ whittled this down to a shortlist of three, which was then opened up to a public vote to decide the winner. In second place was a kitchen sold by Dream Doors Watford and St Albans, and in third place was one sold by Dream Doors Oxford.

“Our success as a company is based on providing a transparent and trustworthy service – we can transform a kitchen within a few days by replacing kitchen door and work surfaces, and our ‘kitchen transformation of the year’ winner is a perfect example of that,” said Troy Tappenden, MD, Dream Doors. “Consumers are starting to learn that they don’t need to pay tens of thousands of pounds and suffer weeks of disruption to have the kitchen they have always wanted. Congrats go to Geoff and Gill at Dream Doors Salisbury for an amazing transformation.”

Dream Doors allows customers to transform a kitchen for a fraction of the cost of a full re-fit, by replacing work surfaces, doors and draw fronts. Every single door is made to measure a customer’s exact requirements, and come in a wide range of styles, colours and materials to suit a variety of tastes and styles.

Gill Noble, DD Salisbury commented:

“We are delighted that one of our makeovers won the prize from the thousands and thousands of completed jobs across the entire Dream Doors network this year.”

“We work with our customers to give them the very best kitchen for their money, and always use local tradespeople to complete the job. Whites and blues are very popular right now, and allow customers to add their own splashes of colour with pictures and when painting the walls. This kitchen is a wonderful example of what can be achieved and is a worthy winner.”
