December has been a busy month for Water Cooler World with three new signings.
The first came from Northern Ireland with the Belfast and Londonderry area being secured and this was closely followed by a sign up from Essex and then hot on their heels, a sign up in Barnsley.
Managing director at the B2B franchise Mike Webb said: “We are delighted with not only the numbers, but also the quality of the sign ups. These are people who have run businesses before, and recognise the potential that Water Cooler World can offer them.
“Whilst our company has been trading for over 6 years, the franchise side of the business was only launched 14 months ago, and we set ourselves a target of 3 franchisees for the first year” he said.
“We now have 9 and some others are still under discussion and look very promising.”
Asked why he thinks Water Cooler World have been so successful whilst other companies are floundering,
Mike said: “I think it is because we are very transparent as a business.”
“We tell people what it’s really like, warts and all, and of course we don’t charge monthly management fees, or royalty fees.”
“This means that we only make our money if they are successful and do well, we don’t make money from just selling franchises and taking regular income from the franchisees.”
Mike went on to say “Whilst we don’t charge for it, we do give constant help and support to our franchisees, - even going down to help them hands on in their own area.”
“We also never push people, we simply give them all the information they need to make an informed decision,” he said.
