After many years of public service, and some life-changing events, we decided to find something completely different to do with our lives, where we could work for ourselves and enjoy a more flexible lifestyle. A number of different business opportunities were investigated although we knew we had a particular interest in working with animals. After talking to a number of different franchises we noticed an advert for Husse in Franmail. Many boxes were ticked - flexibility, working with animals and people, working for ourselves, so contact was made and an initial meeting was held with Dr Majid and Fahim.

This meeting was most interesting, and intrigued we returned home and began researching the business in more detail, looking at territories, business plans and imagining what life would be like as a Husse Franchisee. The more we thought about the idea, the more excited we became, and the decision was made - we would become the Franchisees for Lichfield and Walsall! Negotiations were successfully concluded and we signed on the dotted line in November, only for Daran to fall off a step and break his arm eighteen hours later! But that's a story for another time...

All through the process we have found Dr Majid and Fahim to be very straightforward, friendly and flexible, offering good advice and support. This has continued through the early days of one-armed business planning, with a special mention for the IT support and suggestions from Sergey. Our first delivery has arrived, the training sessions attended and proudly driving our lovely new red van around has been a joy!
