Llanelli-based Leigh Francis recalls: “During my 25 years of being Managing Director of a family-owned business, I was involved in financial management. I was very aware of the need to control business costs and I was looking for a way to market my services to SMEs’. I received a promotional e-mail from Auditel, the cost management franchise, and visited their offices for an initial meeting. It appeared to be an ethical service which was transparent and instantly quantifiable for a prospective client.”

Leigh joined the Auditel network in January 2012. Since becoming an Auditel Consultant, he has added the considerable expertise gained from Auditel to his many years of business management. This has enabled him to identify potential areas where significant savings can be made and he has achieved them for organisations operating across a broad range of sectors.

Leigh confirms: “The quality of training and the on-going support is excellent. Although you are running an independent business and in charge of your own destiny, the support from the network and from Head Office is brilliant. Regular meetings and interaction on the Auditel bulletin board is central to this support structure.  Working from home adds to the attraction!”

The projects on which Leigh has cut his teeth have not been large but have been numerous and the average savings achieved are very high. Most of these assignments have been for an electronics business with three sites, an accountant and a motor factor.

Leigh affirms: “I see a wonderful opportunity in the Auditel service. I have brought in my nephew Aled to help me drive us forward and provide longevity. My plan for the future is to build a substantial and sustainable business model, which delivers not only financial success but also, suits my lifestyle expectations.”
