Colourfence appoints new Franchise Development Manager

10 December 2018

More support now available for the innovative fencing manufacturers’ 50+ franchisees

Colourfence recently appointed new Franchise Development Manager, Steve Tarbard. Steve, who brings 30 years’ franchise experience with him, joins the Colourfence team, based in Newport, South Wales.

It was important, Steve says, that he immediately rolled his sleeves up and got stuck in, learning the model and, in turn, helping further develop the company’s 50-strong franchise network.

“I’ve been out on the road meeting with all of our existing franchisees, to understand how they all operate and deliver within their own businesses,” he says. “I’ve also been using this as an opportunity to bring the network closer together, by using and sharing each other ideas.”

Steve will also work closely with the recruitment team to expand Colourfence across the UK in areas not yet covered, with dozens of exclusive territories still available for the right candidate.

“Colourfence is a very special product. It’s unique and perfect for the UK market,” says Steve. “But our franchisees are the heart of our business. They are the ones out there meeting with customers and delivering our product all year round.

“By 2020, we would like to have recruited at least 15 more like-minded franchisees. This franchise is perfect for anyone looking to build a real business of their own. And they certainly don’t need any previous experience.”

ColourFence is recruiting new franchisees nationwide and encourages interested parties to attend a Discovery Day at its factory in Newport, South Wales. As a management franchise opportunity, investors won’t be required to install the fences themselves nor is any previous industry experience required.
