Wagging Tails franchisee Hilary Coates, who operates the company’s Swindon franchise has followed up on her recent appearance as a finalist at the Wiltshire Business Awards and has also now been shortlisted as a Finalist for Best Woman Franchise at the 2018 Encouraging Women into Franchising (EWIF) Awards.

Upon hearing the news that she had been shortlisted Hilary stated,

“This is very exciting news. There are a lot of wonderful franchises involved with EWIF and I am really pleased to make it through to the final five”.

Wagging Tails have experienced some success at the EWIF Awards and Hilary becomes the third Wagging Tails franchisee to be shortlisted for the Best Woman Franchisee Award following previous successes of Teresa Bowers and Clair Slingo. This is also Hilary’s second time in contention for an EWIF Award as she is a former winner of the New Woman Franchisee of the Year award, a category in which fellow franchisee Sarah Evans has also been a finalist.

In the Franchisor category Wagging Tails Founder and Director Lisa Suswain has been also been a Finalist in the New Woman Franchisor of the Year category, before going one step better and winning the Woman Franchisor of the Year Award in 2014.  Speaking about Hilary being listed as a Finalist Lisa said,

“This is a fantastic achievement and just reward for all the hard work that Hilary has put into the business and the consistently high standards that she has achieved in delivering our service in the Swindon area.” 

As an organisation EWIF aims to support women who looking for a route into the franchise industry. The 2018 EWIF Awards bring together the best women in the industry to celebrate their successes and will take place in central London on Tuesday 15th May 2018.
