After having spent near on 30 years building companies solely in the Security Sector World Wide, (UK, Moscow, Spain etc), I decided to put my experiences and skill to the benefit of other security companies in the UK.

I spent considerable time visiting other companies involved within a similar style of consultancy, and I even considered ‘going it alone’. However having had previous experiences of working with Jim Rathbone , I quickly realised that with Rathbone Results methodical and detailed approach and training plus the ongoing support offer, this alone would accelerate my next career move.
Ultimately it would also lead to a calmer life style for my years to come, after having ‘Globe trotted’ for more than 12 years. In addition, I thought this career change would give me the opportunity to enjoy other interests and my grandchildren.

The Rathbone Results training course was not only detailed, thorough and well thought out, but it taught me how to make that transition from ‘being the Boss’ to becoming a confident trusted business advisor to my new clients.

The Rathbone Results support team immediately gave me that ‘Fast Start’ every consultant would wish for.  I contracted my first client within some 23 days after training and the second client 4 days later. The back of house support team took care of business cards, documentation, LinkedIn profiles, Bios, appointments etc within my first 2 weeks from training.

Where am I now?

I have 5 ongoing SME Clients and  2 other prospects awaiting my attention. I am pleasantly surprised how many opportunities this position has opened up for me. For example I have a 30% shareholding in an amazing Security surveying app development company. I have a 25% shareholding in a Security Monitoring Station (ARC) I invested in. I am also acting as a scout for some of the UKs major Security Companies in finding and suggesting possible  / suitable acquisitions.
